Oregon Safer Workers Coalition
Decriminalization protects more people by reducing stigma, allows safer reporting for victims of violence, and enables civil rights for sex workers by reducing stigma and harmful policies.
Sex Worker *only* meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, 5:30-6:30pm PST.
Allies meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, 5:30-6:30pm PST.

OSWC Programs
Harm Reduction
Our goal is to provide low-barrier education and resources to reduce harm in our communities and beyond. We primarily do so by distributing harm reduction supplies (Narcan, liquid naloxone, fentanyl test strips, Plan B, and Covid tests). Last year, with donations from the OSWC Community, 37 community care backpacks were distributed in partnership with Blanchet House in Portland.
Over 2,000 units of naloxone distributed in 2025 so far.
Use code HALFOFF for 50% off, or PAYITFORWARD for a no-cost course! Any received payment supports our Harm Reduction program.
Decriminalizing Sex Work
Decriminalization protects more people by reducing stigma, allows safer reporting for victims of violence, and enables civil rights for sex workers by reducing stigma and harmful policies. The last couple of years, we have been working with sex workers, lawyers, people living under decriminalization in New Zealand, and others to complete a Legal Mapping Guide to Decriminalize Sex Work in Oregon.
Decriminalization means safety.
“If sex work was decriminalized I would have less anxiety about work. I imagine I would have more clients because some might feel less shame about receiving services from me.” – Anon Oregon SW
Community
OSWC is for and by sex workers. We have held monthly meetings for SWs only and SWs/allies for over five years where important collective action takes place. In-person events include Portland Pride, International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, and the 2025 art show, The Oldest Profession: A Showcase of Sex Workers Thru History.
Keep up with OSWC on Instagram: @oswcoalition.
Keep an eye out for future events!
Next event: February 2026…stay tuned for more information.
Consensual adult sex work is a viable work option. Sex workers’ human rights cannot be fully realized with criminal laws that threaten their access to justice, health, and social services.
OSWC Harm Reduction supplies have been distributed all over the US! Click on any illuminated spot on the map to view what supplies were distributed to that location. Your support of OSWC allows for this lifesaving impact. DONATE TODAY to ensure harm reduction supplies make it into the hands of those who need it most.
